Bereft is a loose-knit band, consisting of many untalented college students throughout the country. This somewhat generic punk version of "Sunshine", recorded by guitarist David Karig and lead singer Adam Tyner (shown on accordion in this picture), came from the frustration the two encountered while trying to faithfully and acoustically cover one of Bereft's favorite PUSA songs.
